Class Descriptions

Weekday Classes:

 

MONDAY: Art Explorations: In this class, we will create drawings, paintings and sculptures, using many fun and creative techniques. Come with an open mind and be ready to learn something new and have fun. We will surely get a bit messy at times so smocks are required! Art Exploration will meet on Monday afternoons, from 3.30-5pm. Artist/educator Cindy Rehm is the instructor for this class. The registration fee for this class is $175. Ages 8-11. ART EXPLORATION IS NOW FULL - CALL FOR WAITLIST!

Dates: January 16, 23, 30; February 6, 20, 27; March 6, 13 (no class on February 13)

TUESDAY: Drawing and Painting: This is a beginning guided drawing and painting class intended for interested students who want to experiment with a variety of media to produce several finished works of art. Come with an open mind and be ready to learn something new and have fun. A small sketchbook is required. This class will meet on Tuesday afternoons, from 3.30-5pm. Artist/educator Cindy Rehm is the instructor for this class.  The registration fee for this 8-week class is $175. Ages 12-16.

 

Dates: January 17, 24, 31; February 7, 21, 29; March 7, 14 (no class on February 14)

Saturday Classes:

Animation & Storytelling: Explore various media art forms, including flipbooks, stop-motion, puppetry, and video editing as we collaborate to bring out the magic in your storytelling to show your family and friends! Koz mixes up the content for this class, so young artists are welcome to repeat the class. Students may bring their own iPads or other tablets, but tablets will also be available for sharing. This class will meet on Saturday mornings, from 10am-noon. Artist/educator Michael Koz is the instructor for this class.  The registration fee for this 4-week class is $125. Ages 8-12.

 

Dates: February 11, 18, 25, and March 4

TC Arts members ($100 level and above) are eligible for a discount on registration fees.
