The Arts Council’s Duck Race has been a splashing good time here in Transylvania County, and we’re excited to bring you the 18th Annual Duck Race live at King's Creek on the Brevard College campus. The ducks will arrive on campus at 4pm, and race time is 6pm sharp!
Join the Fun!
The public (that’s all of us) is invited to participate in the 19th Annual Duck Race by sponsoring a duck or duck family. Duck Sponsors not only get to participate in this long-standing summer past time, but Duck Sponsors also have the chance to win cash prizes and gift certificates from local businesses. Plus, they get the satisfaction of supporting the arts in Transylvania County!
Funds raised from duck sponsorships are used to support the Arts Council’s programming, including our Arts in Schools and Summer Arts Academy programs.

First Place $200 cash
Second Place $75 cash
Third - Tenth Places Gift Cards from local businesses
Last Place Duck $20 cash
