Birds, Butterflies, and Blooms
June 27 - August 2, 2025
Birds, Butterflies, and Blooms is currently on display in the Arts Council Gallery and will run through Saturday, August 2.
As an open exhibit, artists of all ages and experience levels were invited to create and submit artwork in any visual medium (other than film/video) that fit the theme of “Birds, Butterflies, and Blooms.”
Participating artists include Diane Zuck, Lauren Wolf, Susan Whitaker, Bryan Wesley Thomas, Patrick J. Sullivan, Daniel Sztyber, Martine Stolk, Debra Smale, Violet Silva, Denise Sawyer, Barbara Gurry Rowell, Manfred Rehm, Cindy Rehm, Judy Mowery, Mary McCullah, Lane Maier, Terri Leslie, Celia Landreth, Don Lander, Kathy King, Lynn Jackson, Lila Fox, Kathy Evernham, Pat Dunham, Pam Drellow, Jo Crebbin, Susan Causey, Susan and Sarah Causey, and Ceylon Canning.

CALLS FOR ARTISTS
Third Annual Juried Exhibition
August 15 - September 20, 2025
The Arts Council has issued a call to artists for its Third Annual Juried Exhibition. The exhibit will open on Friday, August 15, and close on Saturday, September 20. The juror for this year’s exhibition is Michael Manes, director and co-owner of Blue Spiral 1 art gallery in Asheville.
Artists ages 18 and older are invited to submit up to 3 pieces of artwork . Application deadline is July 20.
All artwork submitted for the exhibit must be original and fit the theme. The registration fee is $40 per artist ($35 for Arts Council members at the $100 level or higher).
