TRANSYLVANIA COMMUNITY ARTS COUNCIL
Two Artists - Two Visions
September 13 - October 5
Two Artists - Two Visions has been extended through Saturday, October 12.
Hurricane Helene may have slowed us down, but we don't want anyone to miss the opportunity to see this intriguing exhibit! The Gallery will be open from 11am-5pm, Tuesday through Friday, and 1-4pm on Saturday afternoon. Stop by to rejuvenate your spirits with artwork produced and displayed in this collaborative exhibit!
Two Artists-Two Visions is a collaborative exhibit, involving members of the Land of Waterfalls Camera Club (LoWCC), the Connestee Art League, and their invited guests. The members who chose to participate were instructed to invite an artist from a different medium (watercolor, clay, wood, oil, mixed media, poetry, etc.). The two artists then decided on the subject matter for their collaboration, which could be anything of their choosing – a landscape, still life, person, animal; it was entirely up to them. Finally, the two artists each interpreted their vision of that subject matter in their respective mediums.”
Participating artists include Lynn Bartosh, Trula Branon, Janet Brown, Maureen Chapman, Jack Christfield, Gloria Clouse, Christine Cramer, Jo Ann Crebbin, Natalia Dixon, Sharyn Fogel, Linda Griffin, Debra Lachter, David Moynahan, Elaine Omann, Linda Oxford, Ann Douglas Pinckney, Julie Sanders, Suzanne Sanger, Sarah Sneeden, Martine Stolk, Patrick Sullivan, Robert Urban, Joan VanOrman, Crystal Wakoa, Chuck Walsey, and Jill Whalen.
