Take your drawing skills to a new level with an exploration of new materials and techniques. During this 4-week class, participants will be introduced each week to a new drawing material and technique. Light boxes and tracing paper will be on hand, as needed, to help everyone get started. Each class will give participants the confidence and tools needed to continue drawing in these mediums and styles independently.
Dates & Time: Wednesdays, January 14, 21, 28, and February 4 | 11am – 1pm
Location: Transylvania Community Arts Council (349 S. Caldwell St., Brevard)
Registration Fee: $125

About Joan Body, artist/educator
Joan Body is a career corporate graphic designer, originally from Atlanta and more recently from Charleston, where she owned and taught at The Artists Loft School. A lifelong art student and fan of any and all mediums, Joan teaches art with the goal of helping students to be fearless and find that “spark.” She currently lives outside Brevard near her son and his wife on a beautiful horse farm, and frequently makes time to visit her daughters and grandchildren in the Charleston area. When not drawing and painting, she loves to be outside exploring her new home.
