Calling all artists, art lovers, enthusiasts, and friends! The June edition of Brevard First Friday Gallery Walks returns to downtown Brevard and its environs on Friday, June 5. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore an array of distinctive art at participating galleries and arts spots, along with opportunities to hobnob with artists and gallery owners. Gallery Walk hours are generally 5.00-7.00 pm. However, some locations may begin activities earlier and/or stay open a little later.

Brevard First Friday Gallery Walks, sponsored by Transylvania Community Arts Council (the Arts Council), began in 2006 and have since become a monthly mainstay of downtown arts activity. This year’s participating galleries and art spots include Blue Moon Gallery and Frame, Brevard Clay, The Center of the Earth, The Color Wheel Gallery, D.D. Bullwinkel’s Outdoors, the Hollingsworth Gallery/Main Street Ltd, Local Color, The Lucy Clark Gallery & Studio, Newfound Artisan, Number 7 Arts, Red Wolf Gallery, Starfangled Press, Through the Trees, and Transylvania Community Arts Council.

Supporting businesses include Highland Books; Kilwins Chocolates, Fudge, & Ice Cream; PLATT Home; and PLATT Architecture.
