“Myth & Folklore” an Invitational Art Exhibit with Christine Kosiba, Shannon Whitworth & Margaret Kimble

The TC Arts Council has partnered with local artist Christine Kosiba, Shannon Whitworth and Margaret Kimble to present this invitational art exhibit entitled “Mythological Creatures”. The exhibit will run from October 25 thru November 15. An opening reception to meet the artists will be held on Friday, October 25 during Brevard’s 4th Friday Gallery Walk from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Kicks-Off Halloweenfest

Enjoy an evening stroll in downtown Brevard, NC as you explore art, music, and wine. More than 30 galleries, studios, stores, and restaurants will stay open late from 5:00 pm -8:00 pm. Make an evening of it and stop by and have dinner in one of our downtown restaurants. “Small Wonders – Small Works” open show

The Transylvania Community Arts Council has placed a call for artists to enter this open show with the theme “Small Wonders – Small Works”.  All mediums will be accepted, artwork just needs to fit the theme. The exhibit will run November 22 thru December 20. To get an application call TC Arts at 828-884-2787 or email tcarts@comporium.net. Artwork should be delivered with the paperwork on November 18 or 19. An opening reception will be held on November 22 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm during the Brevard 4th Friday Gallery Walk.
